Master's Thesis Research: Games for Health Behavior Change and Psychotherapy

     For my master's thesis I wish to do research and a project regarding psychotherapy and health-related behavior change, since I often find in medical research, that these go hand in hand.      My interest was first sparked when I came across an article by Sadaf Sajjad about a first-person shooter (FPS) guided image therapy (GIT) game that was targeted toward children with brain tumors. My interest was sparked because I am a huge fan of FPS games, and I am aware that many women suffer from brain tumors because someone in my family is very involved with this issue. "What if a similar game could be applied to the different audience of middle-aged women?" I thought. Since then, I have realized that designing a game such as this is not realistic for a master's thesis, but for a PhD thesis.
